Representative Experience
Geoff concentrates on commercial issues and litigation with emphasis on energy, natural resources and construction disputes. Geoff has considerable experience in the preparation, review, and interpretation of construction-related contracts, and has been a frequent lecturer on such subjects at Dal-Tech, formerly the Technical University of Nova Scotia.
Geoff has acted as general counsel and corporate secretary to LASMO Nova Scotia Limited, the operating partner for Canada's first offshore oil production facility. In that capacity, he was involved in the setup, initial operation and financing of the production facilities.
On a Personal Note
Active in his community, Geoff has served as member of the Multiple Sclerosis Society fundraising community, and is a past Board member and President of the Home of the Guardian Angel in Halifax. Geoff is a keen sportsman and fly-fishing aficionado.
