Representative Experience
Morgan provides immigration and citizenship advice to individuals and institutional clients—making numerous applications to Human Resources and Skills Development Canada, Citizenship and Immigration Canada, and Canada Border Services Agency on their behalf. She has experience representing clients before the Immigration and Refugee Board, the Nova Scotia Small Claims Court, the Nova Scotia Provincial Court, the Nova Scotia Supreme Court and the Federal Court of Canada.
In her immigration practice, Morgan provides advice and assistance to individuals interested in studying or working in Canada, immigrating to Canada and remaining in Canada as citizens, as well as providing advice to several organizational clients regarding hiring foreign workers. Morgan provides estate planning and probate advice to individuals and organizations and has a varied civil litigation practice. Morgan also serves on our firm Charity Committee and Social Committee.
On a Personal Note
Morgan is a volunteer lawyer with the ReachAbility Lawyer Referral Service and as legal counsel at the Halifax Refugee Clinic.
