Representative Experience

Pamela has practiced Insolvency Law since 1994 and is active in the Insolvency community. She is a past member of the Board of Directors of the Canadian Insolvency Foundation and helped organize the first Canadian Insolvency Foundation event in Atlantic Canada, the October 2009 presentation by Professor Jacob Ziegel of his Houlden Award-winning paper on Consumer Insolvency and Responsible Lending. Pamela is also a member of the Canadian Bar Association and serves as the Chair of the Bankruptcy and Insolvency subsection for Nova Scotia.

Pamela’s practice also focuses on secured transactions and general Commercial and Business Law. Pamela is designated legal counsel for a number of lenders, as well as representing corporate borrowers. Pamela is corporate counsel for a number of significant businesses in Nova Scotia. Pamela is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Risk Management Association (Atlantic Canada) and currently serves as its Second Vice President.

On a Personal Note

Pamela is past Co-Chair of the Canadian Bar Association Women’s Forum for Nova Scotia. Pamela was a member of the Board of Directors of the Dalhousie Law Alumni Association for 10 years (where she was elected National President for 2002-2004). Pamela is a past member of the Halifax Women’s Network, the Nova Scotia Association of Women in the Law, and the Board of Directors of the Young Entrepreneurs Association (Atlantic).
