Practice Profile

Meaghan practices in the litigation and municipal law groups.

Representative Experience

Meaghan enjoys working closely with her clients to develop creative, proactive solutions to their legal problems.

Meaghan was first called to the bar in Ontario in 2019, after articling at a full-service firm in London Ontario. Prior to joining Wickwire Holm, Meaghan practiced municipal law in Ontario. Her work in Ontario focused on providing strategic advice and representation to municipalities in law enforcement proceedings, expropriations, civil litigation, and land use planning disputes. Meaghan has appeared before the Ontario Superior Court, the Ontario Court of Justice, and the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal.

Meaghan received a scholarship to attend the University of Western Ontario for law school. During her law degree, she worked as a legal research assistant and as a councillor in the University’s Writing Support Centre.

Meaghan was called to the bar in Nova Scotia in 2022.

On A Personal Note

In her spare time, Meaghan enjoys lane swimming, listening to podcasts, and spending time with her family in Antigonish.
