Will is a member of our Regulatory / Administrative, Labour & Employment, Sport, Environmental and Municipal services areas.

Representative Experience

Preparation is vital to effectively responding to changing circumstances. With this in mind, Will works with his clients to provide practical solutions that serve their best interest.

Will has experience in all levels of court in Nova Scotia as well as bodies such as the Labour Board and the Utility and Review Board. He has represented clients in mediations and arbitrations involving a wide range of disputes, from condominium issues to wrongful termination claims.

Will provides strategic advice primarily for institutional clients such as municipalities, long term care facilities and sport organizations.

Publications and Speaking

Will is an experienced public speaker, primarily with respect to employment topics. In recent years Will has presented at conferences on topics such as cannabis in the workplace, implementing effective workplace policies and dispute resolution.

Will co-authored a report for the Network of Expertise on Transportation in Arctic Waters (NEXTAW) entitled “Exploring Plausible Futures for Marine Transportation in the Canadian Arctic – A Scenarios’ Based Approach.”

Will has also published several articles and presented on matters involving maritime transportation, particularly on issues concerning the Canadian Arctic.

On a Personal Note

A long-time athlete and coach, Will spends most of his time outside of work playing and coaching rugby with the Halifax Tars, on (and sometimes in) the water, or wandering Nova Scotia’s coastline with his family and greyhound.
